There is a snack bar located in the hostel campus. It is opened till late nightduring semester exams there is a STD/ISD/LOCAL phone booth located inside the campus .there are telephones an the hostel office to recieve the phone calls and there are phone boys to inform the students of their calls. The State bank and the Central bank are located next to the hostel campus. There are general merchant shops, stationary shops, medical shops, restaurants and fruit shops located closely to the hostel. The bus stop is located just outside the hostel campus. There are also hospitals located very closely. There is a large salt water to supply soft water to the whole hostel. There is a guest house annexe next to the hostel for the accomadation of parents and relatives of the wards.
